Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment
Land registration and survey.
What this authority does
Registers freehold and public land and maintains the survey system. Roughly 81% of Samoa's land is inalienable customary land which cannot be sold and whose ownership is determined by the Land and Titles Court, not this registry, so establishing tenure class is the first step in any dealing.
Services for the public
- Land registration
- Survey plans
- Lease of customary land
- Title searches
