The hierarchy, top to bottom
- Constitutional — Constitutional Council
- Constituted 2018; constitutional and electoral jurisdiction.
- Supreme — Supreme Court of Cameroon
- Judicial, administrative and audit benches for the whole country.
- Appellate — Courts of Appeal
- One per region; apply common law or civil law by region.
- First instance — High Courts and Courts of First Instance
- General civil and criminal jurisdiction.
- Regional — CCJA and CEMAC Court of Justice
- OHADA commercial and CEMAC community law.
