The three branches

Head of State — President of the Republic
Directly elected.
Executive — Prime Minister and Government
Accountable to the Assembly.
Legislative — Assembly (Sobranie)

How legislation is made

Laws are adopted by the Assembly and promulgated by the President, with certain matters requiring a "Badinter" double majority protecting communities.
