The hierarchy, top to bottom
- Supreme — Corte Suprema de Justicia de la Nación
- Five justices; final constitutional authority via the extraordinary federal appeal.
- Appellate — Cámaras Nacionales y Federales de Apelaciones
- Chambers organised by subject matter — civil, commercial, labour, criminal, administrative.
- First instance — Juzgados nacionales y federales
- Federal and national trial courts, separate from provincial courts.
- Provincial — Superior courts of the 23 provinces and CABA
- Each province has its own full hierarchy topped by a superior tribunal.
