The hierarchy, top to bottom

Constitutional — Constitutional Court
Nine judges, single twelve-year terms; individual access after exhaustion.
Final appellate — Court of Cassation
Ensures uniform application; its decisions guide lower courts.
Appellate — Courts of Appeal
Separate civil, criminal and administrative appellate courts.
First instance — Courts of General Jurisdiction
Civil and criminal first instance.
Specialist — Administrative Court and Anti-Corruption Court
The Anti-Corruption Court began work in 2022.
