The three branches

- Legislative — National Assembly and Senate

- Judicial — Cour suprême and Cour constitutionnelle
- Conseil supérieur de la magistrature governs the career.
How legislation is made
Bills are considered in committee and plenary in both chambers, then promulgated. The Cour constitutionnelle may review a text before promulgation on referral.
